Mighty King Dadon rides in his triumphal coach, the mysterious Queen of Shamakha by his side. A pearly vision of the skies, the wise Astrologer appears before the sovereign, insisting the King fulfill his promise. As the royal vow is broken, the magical Golden Rooster, perched high upon a spear, awaits to proclaim justice.
